Why I Rebranded to Wilderwell: The Meaning Behind the Name and Logo

Every brand has a beginning, but some beginnings feel more like a returning – a coming home to what you were always meant to be doing. After years of working simply under my own name, I realised the work I do had outgrown the container it lived in.

My coaching, energy work and wellbeing support had become deeper, more connected and more holistic than a personal name could really express. I needed a brand that reflected the real heart of what I offer: grounded wellbeing, intuitive living and the courage to grow in your own way.

That’s when Wilderwell arrived.

Wilderwell is about living well in a way that’s natural, intuitive and quietly powerful – not perfect, not rigid, not harsh. Just real. Just human.

The Story Behind the Wilderwell Name

The name Wilderwell brings together two ideas:

  • Wilder – living more instinctively, more honestly and more in tune with your own nature.
  • Well – feeling supported, regulated, rested and able to cope with real life.

For me, wellbeing isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about creating a life that feels more spacious, more calm and more true to who you are. The name Wilderwell captures that balance – grounded wellbeing with room to breathe and be yourself.

The Meaning Behind the Wilderwell Logo

Every part of the Wilderwell logo is intentional. It isn’t just a pretty mark – it tells the story of the brand and the kind of holistic, heart-led wellbeing support I offer.

The Tree Growing from the W

One of the first things people notice about the Wilderwell logo is the tree growing out of the letter W. This tree symbolises:

  • Gentle, steady growth
  • Healing over time, not overnight fixes
  • Returning to your roots while still evolving
  • Connection to nature and natural rhythms

The tree grows through the W because wellness shouldn’t sit separately from everyday life. It weaves through everything you do – the way you rest, move, think, feel and care for yourself.

Why the Wilderwell Logo Has Eleven Leaves

The tree in the Wilderwell logo has exactly eleven leaves. This number was chosen deliberately.

The number 11 is often associated with:

  • Intuition and inner knowing
  • Alignment and clarity
  • New beginnings and fresh starts
  • Stepping into a new chapter of your life

Those eleven leaves represent visible growth – the parts of you that are emerging, the progress you can finally see, and the shifts you feel as you move towards a calmer, more regulated and more authentic version of yourself.

The Significance of the Ten Roots

Beneath the W sit ten roots, grounding the entire logo.

These roots symbolise:

  • Stability and support
  • The deeper inner work that no one else sees
  • Your history, experiences and lived reality
  • A solid foundation for future growth

In numerology, the number 10 is often linked with completion – the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. That mirrors what many people feel when they come to this work: they’re ready to close an old chapter and begin again, in a way that honours both where they’ve been and where they’re going.

Where the leaves represent who you’re becoming, the roots honour the path that brought you here.

The River Line Beneath the Roots

Underneath the roots is a soft flowing line – a river or waterline running gently beneath the W.

This represents:

  • Flow instead of force
  • Emotional movement and release
  • The natural ebb and flow of life
  • Calm strength, even when circumstances change

Water doesn’t rush to prove itself. It moves, adapts and shapes the landscape over time. That’s the energy I want Wilderwell to hold – steady, supportive and quietly powerful.

Why Wilderwell is Purple

Colour matters in branding, especially in the wellness space. I chose purple for Wilderwell because it sits at the meeting point between depth and calm.

Purple is often associated with:

  • Intuition and inner wisdom
  • Healing and transformation
  • Spiritual connection
  • Calm, grounded strength

It stands out without shouting. It feels soothing without being flat or dull. For me, purple is the perfect container for the kind of work I do – nervous system support, energy work, mindset shifts and gentle, realistic wellbeing.

What Wilderwell Stands For

Wilderwell isn’t just a new logo or a different name. It represents a clearer expression of what I believe wellbeing should feel like.

Wilderwell stands for:

  • Grounded wellbeing – support that fits real life, not a fantasy routine.
  • Intuitive living – working with your own rhythm and nervous system.
  • Nurturing change – growth that feels supportive, not punishing.
  • Empowerment – helping you trust yourself more, not depend on someone else forever.
  • Natural tools – simple practices and supports that make your days feel lighter.

Whether someone comes to me for coaching, energy support, readings or general wellbeing guidance, my aim is always the same: to help them feel more held, more resourced and more able to meet their life with a steadier nervous system and a kinder inner voice.

The Rebrand as an Evolution, Not a Reset

Rebranding to Wilderwell isn’t about wiping the slate clean. It’s an evolution of everything I’ve already been doing – with a name and logo that finally match the depth and nature of the work.

It’s a way of saying:

  • This is who I am now.
  • This is what I stand for.
  • This is how I want people to feel when they interact with my work.

Wilderwell gives me space to grow, to add new offerings over time and to keep supporting people in a way that feels honest, grounded and aligned.

Live Well. Live Wilderwell.

If you’re new here, welcome – I’m really glad you’ve found your way to Wilderwell.

If you’ve been with me from the early days, thank you for walking with me through this evolution. The name might be new, but the heart behind the work hasn’t changed.

Wilderwell is here for people who don’t want perfection – they want support, gentleness, practical tools and a space where they can come home to themselves.

Live well. Live Wilderwell.
